We always set forth our efforts to accommodate any and all contract requests for our services - even those that would be considered "short notice". While we offer our promise that we will do our best to find a date and/or time which meets your requirements, Eazy Home Services cannot guarantee any space in the booking schedule.

Eazy Home Services reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or stop any services. (Please see further details outlined below and in the next section).

Deposits & Cancellations
​
Deposits are required for all Home Services projects, to secure space in the booking schedule and cover any materials needed to complete your project. You will be notified if it should be required. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone any bookings due to outstanding deposits.
​
If the date of service for your project/service(s) is changed, the deposit will be transferred to the new service date.

If a confirmed date of service is cancelled, or should you decide to no longer continue your project/service(s) with us, Eazy Home Services reserves the right to retain the full deposit amount when materials have been purchased and/or to cover incurred costs and associated administrative fees. By cancelling a confirmed project/service(s) with us, you thereby understand and accept your forfeiture to any deposit amount(s) provided, and may be subject to additional cancellation fee(s) and/or penalties; including but not limited to, the full estimated amount of your project/service(s) for their anticipated duration.

Please note, a deposit is considered a transaction of good faith and security of our services. We are serious in our commitment to you and your project/service(s), and this should be thought about carefully if you do not intend the same to us.

Estimates & Pricing
​​​
A complimentary estimate is required in order to gauge the scope of work for your project/service(s), and to gather any and all details needed to provide you with the best estimated cost.
​
We stand behind the price we estimate for your project, so you know exactly what to expect - however, our estimate prices quoted expire 30 days after date of issue, or 5 days from date of requested service start date. Should you need to delay or postpone your requested services with us, you may be subject to receiving a new estimate for your scope of work with any and all operational and pricing changes updated to reflect current policies.

Once you have accepted our estimate, we proceed with scheduling your service date(s). If any changes or additions to scope of work happen, please update us prior to our start of work, or by date specified on your estimate.
Any change requests made after we have commenced work will be subject to full or additional cost, and/or the inability of Eazy Home Services to accommodate due to scheduling restrictions, or policies.

Please note - while we make every effort to prevent complications on the day of your service, Eazy Home Services and its operators are not responsible for any force majeure that may arise including poor building or road accessibility, changes in scope of work, traffic, weather, and/or any other force majeure, which may cause delay or disruption to your service.
​Eazy Home Services reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or stop any service(s) due to force majeure, or if we have not been provided the necessary or correct details of your project, as it could impose on current schedule restrictions, interfere with operating requirements, or cause risk to the service(s) results or our operators. ​

Service Changes
​
We understand things may change as your needs do - and in certain cases, this may mean any service(s) you have selected.
​
As previously stated, we will do our best to accommodate any changes, additions, or last minute adjustments to your scope of work; however Eazy Home Services and its operators cannot guarantee any ability to do so once your estimate has been received and confirmed, or once we have started work on your project/service(s).
​
Since many of our services require equipment usage and/or operational planning in order to perform the quoted job, we need as much notice as possible if any changes or adjustments are requested. Failure to provide us with notice prior to start of work or by date specified on your estimate, will waive your right to "opt out" of any charges for service(s) you no longer wish to receive.
As such, you will be responsible for all costs estimated for in full, and they will be reflected accordingly on your final invoice.

Payments & Invoices
​​
For your convenience, we accept Cash; major Credit Cards (with processing fee); Electronic Transfer (ETF); and Direct Deposit (for commercial client accounts). All services follow the standard government and provincial GST tax requirements, regardless of payment method chosen. Failure to pay associated tax amount for your completed services will deem your invoice incomplete, and may result in possible late payment charges*, at the discretion of Eazy Home Services and its operators.

All deposits and/or invoices are due in full by the date specified on your estimate and/or invoice, unless other payment schedules have been made prior to your service date(s). If you require alternative payment schedules, or would like to learn about our payment plan options, please inform us as soon as possible so we can make the appropriate arrangements on our end, and to avoid possible late payment charges*.

For commercial clients, we are pleased to offer a commercial account program. If your company is not currently registered as a commercial account with us prior to your service booking, your deposit/invoice will be due upon date specified. To sign up as a commercial account, please contact us.

*Any late payments are subject to a late payment fee of $50.00, plus interest (10%) for each month the invoice remains outstanding.

Eazy Home Services reserves the right to postpone or cancel any bookings due to outstanding deposits and/or invoice payments.

Major Projects
​
We are happy to take on your job, no matter the project size! For some, this may be considered a major project on our landscaping, exterior, maintenance, and renovations side of things.
All of our major projects share the same booking procedures and conditions as the rest of our service offerings, however they follow a slightly different payment arrangement plan in order to keep things running smoothly and efficiently for all parties involved.

We will inform you during your initial estimate process if this is the case, and a course of action will be mapped out with you at your ability and convenience during the length of time estimated to see your project/service(s) to completion.
Personal Property/Possessions & Breakages
​
In order to ensure the safety of our operators and efficiency in the completion of your project/service(s), we require that you clear away any and all nearby furniture, fixtures, installations and belongings etc. from work areas prior to us arriving. Our operators are not responsible for removing any items from work areas, and if it should be required, will be deemed billable time to you (the client) at $80.00 per hour, ($50.00 minimum, per occurrence). Please note, however, Eazy Home Services and its operators, and any contractors, will not repair or replace, or provide reimbursement for, damaged items not removed from work areas prior to our arrival, or as a result of us needing to move them.
Under no circumstances shall Eazy Home Services, its operators or contractors, be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting during our time on your property or site location, nor do we accept any responsibility for the safety of any person, pet or other animals within work areas.

Weather Permitting
At Eazy Home Services, we aren't afraid to get our hands dirty. Our teams come prepared to tackle the many elements our great province experiences throughout the year. This being said, we are always mindful of our desired outcome for your project/service(s), and the safety of our team members.

Some outdoor project(s)/service(s) may need to be rescheduled and/or delayed due to weather. This is typically the case for the following services:
Exterior paint and/or seal work - as certain temperatures and conditions can affect the curing and/or finishing process thus affecting the final result and appearance of your project.
​​
Some yard services requiring use of machines/equipment on your lawn - due to the weight and operational movement of the machines/equipment, unwanted damage may occur during wet conditions.
Given such circumstances, our teams are trained to 'err on the side of caution' in order to prevent any and all damage before it occurs; so as to not only avoid changes in project costs but also to guarantee the highest quality of work for every project size, large or small.

Eazy Home Services and its operators reserve the right to postpone and/or delay any service(s) under these conditions. You will be notified, and a proposed game-plan for future scheduling will be arranged with you for our earliest availability.

Quality of Service & Interference
​​
We stand behind the quality of service our team and operators provide to complete your home project. Once our team has assessed your project or requested scope of work, we will establish a game plan based on your project/service(s) specifications, and provide you with instruction on any and all prep or aftercare required.
For any weather or time sensitive jobs, our team will do our best to consider all available forecasts and variances predicted to ensure appropriate booking and optimal results of your project/service(s).

This being said, Eazy Home Services and its operators are not responsible for any interference to completed work as a result from force majeure, or you, the client.
Failure to follow our team's instruction or recommendations for the care and maintenance of your completed project/service(s) is at your discretion. You thereby agree that in choosing not to follow our instruction or recommendations, you will not hold Eazy Home Services or its operators responsible for any damages or altering effects experienced as a result of doing so.

We will be happy to return if any repair or re-do should be required (and is possible), however please note that you will be charged for any and all return visit(s), service(s) performed, and/or material(s) needed to recover the extent of what was done.

Timeline of Completion
​​
While we extend our every effort to start and complete your project/service(s) in an efficient and timely manner, we cannot guarantee a specific date of completion. This is due to other pre-existing bookings, restrictions to your schedule, weather changes & conditions, material(s) availability, and any other force majeure.

If you have a specific date and/or time required for your project/service(s) to be completed, please inform us immediately during the estimate process - this way, our team can make necessary arrangements to follow your timeline as best as possible, and inform you of your options.

Materials
​​
Our team always sets forth our efforts to find the best quality & price on materials we source, if they are required for your project/service(s). This being said, we are not responsible for supplier pricing, quantities, or availability. While we stand behind our estimates for our services, we cannot guarantee the price(s) or availability of materials on date of purchase. This is due to unforeseen changes in supplier pricing, availability in stock, or if additional materials become needed for your project/service(s). If you decide on a different product selection after materials have already been purchased or used, we are unable to guarantee a refund from the supplier. If materials are unused, and unable to be refunded by the supplier, any costs incurred for our staff during this process are billable to you (the client).

If your project/service(s) is cancelled, or you no longer wish to continue your project/service(s) with us, you are still responsible for any purchased materials. Any amount not covered by your provided deposit will be reflected on your final invoice, and regular invoice and late policies will apply.

Please note - Eazy Home Services and its operators do not hold or store purchased materials after cancellations, as we do not condone the use of unused materials for future services or projects.
Any materials will be donated to Habitat For Humanity's initiatives for families in need.

Delivery
​​
Once materials have been delivered to your property or site location, they become the sole responsibility of you (the client). Eazy Home Services, its operators and contractors, accept no responsibility for storage conditions, loss, damage, or expense after delivery of materials to site for any reason. Please ensure your materials are kept and stored in a safe, secure, and moisture/weather-resistent location, for the duration of time on site and use.

Parking & Restrictions
​
Many of our services and custom projects require our vehicle(s) to be on the worksite for quick access to our equipment and any material(s) needed for your job. Please ensure that there is ample and legal parking at your property or site for our team prior to our arrival to eliminate any potential obstacles, delays to our time, or possible incurrence of penalties.

If on-site parking is not available, please inform us as soon as possible during the estimate process so that arrangements and any associated fees can be included in your estimate.
​
Eazy Home Services and its operators are not responsible for any parking fees, tickets, and/or by-law fines incurred during the time at your property to provide your estimate(s) and/or service(s). If such fees or penalties are acquired, the cost(s) will be forwarded to you, or included as part of your final invoice.

By choosing to hire Eazy Home Services for your home project needs, you agree that you have read, understand, and accept all terms and conditions of service outlined in this document.

By accepting the terms & conditions stated above, you acknowledge their applicability to you, and you agree to refrain from any course of civil action, claim, or dispute against us in regards to them.
