Moving Tip #2

Enlist a color-coding system and stick to it. Designate a color for each room or "zone" in your new space, and label each box or item with the corresponding color. This way, everyone involved in your move will know exactly where your belongings go in the new space, and make it easy for you to find what you need in a timely fashion.

Get creative:

Try colored masking tape, stickers, or handmade signs on paper - think colored sharpies or glitter pens on white paperstock, or colored paper itself!

This is a great activity for the whole family to do together, & to help the younger members of the family feel more involved in the moving process.
